What does your proposal plan include?
Before the day, I send you a written plan made for your date: a map of the location, the route to walk, where to stop and when to arrive, and where I will be. It also covers the backup spot if the weather or the crowds change and, if you would like one, a simple cover story for your partner.
On the day itself, you only need to follow it. Everything else has already been decided.

Best places to propose at Lake Bled
There is no single best spot; the right one depends on the mood and the privacy you want.
- —The lakeshore. The classic view of the island church and Bled Castle. It is the most recognisable setting and also the busiest, so timing matters most here: early morning is usually the calmest, especially in summer.
- —A traditional wooden boat. Intimate, with the island behind you and a moment on the water away from the paths. A private boat can be arranged as an optional extra.
- —Bled Castle terrace. Elevated views over the lake and the island. A reserved terrace gives more control and a stronger sense of occasion, although it needs more coordination in advance.
- —A quiet viewpoint. Wide views from above the lake and usually fewer people, in exchange for a short walk uphill.
