I live at Lake Bled. Not near it, not a drive away — I wake up to this lake, year-round. That's the part couples usually feel rather than read about: I know which weeks the shoreline is quiet, when the morning mist sits on the water, which viewpoint holds light until late, and which local florist, boatman or celebrant will actually pick up the phone. If the weather turns, I can suggest moving your session to a better day, because I'm already here.
I photograph across Slovenia too — the Julian Alps, the coast, countryside estates — but Bled is home.
