Elopement Photography Pricing at Lake Bled

Clear, honest pricing for intimate weddings — whether you need photography only, or one person who quietly takes care of the whole day. Updated August 2026.

Elopement Photography Options

Every elopement I photograph includes the same level of care: honest advice before you decide anything, help with timing and light, discreet coverage on the day, and a fully edited gallery. The difference between the options is not the quality of the photography — it is how much of the planning you would like me to carry.

Photography Only — from 1.300 €

Up to 4 hours · minimum 200 edited images

For couples who have already planned their elopement, or are working with a planner.

Four hours here are not four consecutive hours at a venue. An elopement moves, and the hours are placed where they are needed rather than run end to end.

  • Location and timing advice from a local perspective
  • Discreet, natural coverage of your ceremony and portraits
  • Preview gallery within 72 hours
  • Fully edited gallery within 4–6 weeks
  • High-resolution files and a private online gallery

For weekday dates, more flexible options are sometimes possible — mention it when you enquire.

The Elopement Experience — from 1.800 €

Up to 6 hours, flexible across the day · minimum 300 edited images

For couples who want one local person to shape the whole day with them — the option most of my international couples choose.

Everything in Photography Only, plus:

  • Planning the day together: locations, timing, privacy, and a natural flow
  • Coordination of the practical details — boat, flowers, celebrant or symbolic ceremony setup, dinner reservation, weather backup plan
  • A clear written plan before you travel, so nothing feels uncertain

The difference from Photography Only: two more hours on the day, and everything that happens before it — the planning, the coordination, and the certainty that someone local is holding all the details.

For full weddings with guests and vendors, I work happily alongside wedding planners — the Elopement Experience is designed for intimate days for two, or with a few of your closest people.

The Two-Day Elopement Experience — from 2.750 €

Day one up to 6 hours · three-hour second day · minimum 450 edited images

For couples who want more than one place, and more than one kind of light, without rushing either.

Everything in the Elopement Experience, plus:

  • A second day chosen together — alpine meadows, a mountain lake, a quiet valley, or the lake itself. Lake Bled and the Alps in either order, or two days in the mountains if that is what you are picturing
  • Location scouting, with a clear route and timing plan for both days
  • Weather flexibility: with a buffer day in your travel plans, your second day can move to the better weather, subject to my availability
  • Sunrise or golden-hour timing, so each place is photographed at its best

Day one is your ceremony. Day two is just the two of you, good light, and nowhere else to be.

Travel is charged separately by zone, per day photographed — see below. If you would like more than three hours on the second day, additional hours are 200 € each.

Additional hour — 200 €. Available on any day, in any option.

We got married in the town hall in Lake Bled, with just our two young sons in attendance. Damian started taking photos straight away as the boys were playing with the fountain. It was perfect as we got lots of very natural photos which is exactly what we asked for.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does elopement photography at Lake Bled cost?

Single-day elopements fall between 1.300 € and about 2.200 €, depending on coverage length and how much planning support you would like. The Two-Day Elopement Experience starts at 2.750 €. The care, editing, and local guidance are the same in every option.

What is the difference between Photography Only and the Elopement Experience?

Photography Only assumes the day is already planned and covers up to 4 hours. With the Elopement Experience, we plan the day together — locations, timing, privacy, practical details, and backup options — with up to 6 hours of coverage, so you arrive with everything already decided and can simply be present.

Do you organise the day as well?

For a simple symbolic elopement, yes — the photography and everything practical around it: timing, locations, permit guidance, a celebrant, flowers, the boat, and a weather backup. Two witnesses or a handful of your closest people still fits. A legal ceremony or a larger group is where a good planner becomes valuable, and I am glad to introduce you to one I trust.

Do prices change with the season?

No, they do not change.

What about travel costs?

Travel is not included automatically in any option, and the zones below apply to every elopement, single-day or two-day.

— Zone 1 — no travel charge. Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, and Pokljuka.

— Zone 2 — 150 €. Ljubljana, Kranjska Gora, the wider Julian Alps, and the surrounding region.

— Zone 3 — 300 €. The Soča Valley and destinations further afield in Slovenia.

The zone charge applies to each day photographed. Not sure which zone applies? Tell me where you are picturing and I will confirm.

Can we combine Lake Bled with the mountains?

Yes — this is what the Two-Day Experience is for. Lake Bled and the Julian Alps in either order, or two days in the mountains if you would rather. Most couples keep the ceremony on day one and spend the second morning or evening somewhere quieter. It works best between late May and October, when the high meadows are accessible.

How far in advance should we book?

For May–September, as early as you can. Elopements are more flexible than weddings — weekday dates can sometimes be arranged on shorter notice.

What does an elopement at Lake Bled cost in total, beyond photography?

That depends on your choices — ceremony type, boat, flowers, dinner. I explain the full picture honestly in my Lake Bled elopement planning guide.
