Bled is busy. Every location worth proposing at has an hour of the day when it is not, and knowing which hour is most of the work.
The rest of it is arranging: a boat that has to be free at the right moment, a terrace that has to be reserved, a route that gets you to the right spot without it seeming strange, and a plan for the day the forecast turns. Some proposals need almost none of that. Others need all of it.
That is what the three options below are for. The photography does not change between them — what changes is how much of the arranging I carry.
I live at Lake Bled. Most of the proposals I photograph are planned from somewhere else, over weeks of messages, by someone who cannot ask the one person whose opinion they would most want.

Proposal Photography Options
Prices valid for proposals taking place in 2026 / 2027.
Essential · 550 €
Up to 1.5 hours · minimum 50 photographs
One location, agreed together. A fixed date, and nothing to arrange beyond the photography itself.
Suited to a proposal on a walk, at a viewpoint, or somewhere you already have in mind. You will still receive the written plan, the timing advice, and the same discretion on the day.
Arranged · 790 €
Up to 2 hours · minimum 60 photographs
Everything above, plus one arranged element — a boat rowed out in the last hour of light, a table held for afterwards, flowers waiting, or a private section of the castle terrace.
Includes a two-day window, so the date can move for the weather rather than proceeding regardless of it.
Fully Arranged · 1.090 €
Up to 3 hours · minimum 80 photographs
Everything above, plus several arrangements handled together, a site check before your date, and an open window across your stay — so we take the best evening rather than the booked one.
For proposals where more than one thing has to happen in the right order, and where you would rather none of it was yours to hold.
Beyond this
Quoted individually, from 1.400 €. Longer choreography, family hidden nearby, or more than one location across a day.
If what you are picturing turns out to need more than the option you have chosen, I will tell you before we go any further, rather than afterwards.

Third-party costs — boat hire, castle access, flowers, a restaurant afterwards — are paid directly by you and never marked up.
Not sure which option you need
Most proposals begin as an idea rather than a plan, which is normal. Four questions usually settle it:
- Where are you picturing, and have you stood there or only seen photographs?
- Is there anything you want waiting when it happens — a boat, flowers, a table?
- Is your date fixed, or do you have a few days here?
- Will you arrive together, or does one of you need to be brought there without knowing why?
If the answer to two, three, and four is nothing, fixed, and together, Essential is enough. The more of them that are not, the further down the list you belong.

Where things need arranging, I arrange them. You are told what each one costs before anything is booked, and I take no commission on any of it. Castle access, boat hire, flowers, and restaurant bills are paid directly by you.

How much does proposal photography at Lake Bled cost?
Most proposals fall between 550 € and 1.090 €. The difference is not the photography, which is the same throughout — it is how much arranging is involved. A proposal at a viewpoint on a fixed date sits at the lower end. One with a boat, a reserved terrace, a table afterwards, and a weather window across your stay sits at the upper.
What is included?
A planning call, a written plan, discreet coverage of the moment, a portrait session afterwards, ten edited images the same evening, and the full gallery within five working days in high resolution and web size.
Do you help plan the proposal?
Yes, and for most people this is the larger part of what they are paying for. I advise on location and timing, tell you which hour a place is quiet, write the plan, and arrange whatever the plan needs.
Can you arrange flowers, a boat, or a restaurant?
Yes. Boat hire, a reserved section of the castle terrace, flowers waiting, a table afterwards. You are told what each costs before it is booked, and I take no commission.
What happens if the weather changes?
Every plan has a second version prepared in advance. If your option includes a weather window, we simply take the better day. Some of the best light I have photographed arrived twenty minutes after rain.
Will my partner notice you?
No. I am in position before you arrive, I photograph from a distance, and I stay out of sight until you are both ready for me. Couples routinely tell me afterwards that they had no idea where I was.
Can you guarantee there will be nobody else there?
No, and I would not want to claim it. Bled is a working town with visitors in it. What I can do is choose times and places that are as quiet as they can be, and manage what ends up in the frame. That is a large part of what the timing advice is for.
How far ahead should I book?
For May to September, as early as you can. I take one booking a day, and the good evenings go first. Outside those months, shorter notice is often possible.
If your date is available
Tell me roughly when you are here and what you are picturing, even if that is very little. I will tell you honestly whether it works, what it would involve, and which option fits.
Most people book between two weeks and six months ahead. Both are fine.
